DMCA Policy
This policy explains how FinQura receives, evaluates, and responds to notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512. It is designed to balance the rights of copyright owners, users, and our community.
1. Scope and Safe Harbor
FinQura hosts and curates text, images, data visualizations, and other materials that may be provided by staff, contributors, partners, or users. FinQura complies with the notice and takedown framework in 17 U.S.C. § 512 to qualify for safe harbor where applicable. Compliance requires prompt action on valid notices, a process for counter-notice, and appropriate measures for repeat infringers.

3. How to Submit a Proper DMCA Notice
Your notice must include all elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act for the owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed or a representative list if multiple works.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it, such as a URL.
- Contact information of the complaining party, including full name, address, telephone, and email.
- A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act for the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

4. Takedown Procedure
Upon receipt of a facially valid notice, FinQura will:
- Disable access to or remove the material identified in the notice.
- Notify the user or contributor who posted the material.
- Record the notice for audit and compliance purposes.
FinQura may reject or seek clarification for notices that are incomplete, materially inaccurate, or that fail to identify the material with sufficient specificity.
5. Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe your material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone, and email.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district of your address, or if outside the United States, that you consent to jurisdiction where FinQura is located, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or that person’s agent.

After receipt of a valid counter-notice, FinQura may restore the material within ten to fourteen business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the user from engaging in infringing activity.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
FinQura may suspend or terminate accounts or contributor access upon reasonable determination of repeat infringement. We consider the totality of circumstances, including the number of valid notices, the nature of the works, and the time period involved. We also consider evidence of license, fair use, or other defenses if provided in a timely manner.
7. Misrepresentation and Abuse
Submitting false claims may result in liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). FinQura may decline to process automated, bulk, or bad faith notices. We encourage rights holders to assess fair use and related exceptions before filing a notice.
8. Non U.S. Rights and Jurisdictions
FinQura respects international copyright norms. Notices involving non U.S. rights should identify the jurisdiction and the specific right asserted. FinQura evaluates such notices under applicable law and platform policies while maintaining the DMCA framework for hosted material.
9. Privacy and Publication of Notices
FinQura may share complete notices, counter-notices, and related correspondence with the affected user and with third parties as required by law or necessary for adjudication. Personally identifiable information is handled consistent with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to this Policy
